After completing over one hundred audits of Google Ads accounts for Shopify businesses, I am dumbfounded at the number of accounts that don't have accurate conversion tracking setup. Agencies and store owners will spend tens of thousands each month with no idea what, if any part of the campaigns, generate sales. One mistake is upsells in Shopify's post-purchase page are rarely tracked.
