Rakuten eligibility requirements

To sign up as a merchant on Rakuten Ichiba you must:

1. Be highly proficent in Japanese for store setup, customer support, page maintenance, order and returns management, marketing campaigns, navigating Rakuten Merchant Support (RMS)
2. Have logistics to in order to ship products directly from the merchants to end users
3. Assume Foreign Exchange risk, as products are sold in Japanese Yen
4. Be incorporated and be able to provide a D-U-N-S Number
5. Ensure all items sold are compliant with applicable Japanese laws
