Encourage customer registrations with Product Exclusive!

A simple app that hides the Buy buttons for selected products unless the customer is registered and logged in.

Product Exclusive is specially designed to be lightweight with minimal impact on your store. It does NOT modify your theme!

You add a 'Product Protection' block to your Product page and set a metafield called 'Registered Only' for the products you wish to protect.

If you uninstall the app, the Product Protection block will be automatically removed by Shopify. There can never be any complex code that you have to pick through and remove. We only ask for read access to your theme so we can check when you have added the Product Protection block in the customiser.

The app uses Javascript to hide the Buy buttons and replace them with an instruction inviting the visitor to login or register. Please note that because we use Javascript to accomplish this, it is possible for users to bypass this protection if they are so inclined. The app is designed to encourage casual users to register, but please do not use it where products must be inaccessible to non-registered users for compliance reasons.

Your theme must be compatible with Shopify Online Store 2.0, introduced in 2021.
