PayMe from HSBC is a convenient way to make mobile payments to merchants in Hong Kong.
PayMe, released by HSBC, is a popular social payment app in HongKong. Using the app, customers can pay merchants' at the online with their HongKong bank accounts.
This application integrates PayMe into your Shopify store. It works like a standard payment method that will display on the payment section of the checkout page. After selecting it, it will generate a PayCode with payment info for customers to scan and pay with their smartphones. After receiving the payment, PayMe will send a notification to your store, and the order status will change automatically on the backend. To better show your business brand, the extension allows the admin to upload a logo image from the backend to display in the center of the PayCode. It also enables the admin to create a credit memo to refund online payments to customers' PayMe accounts automatically. The refund process is perfectly integrated into the Shopify store refund process.
Security & PCI Compliance
The extension integrates the official PayMe Business API that is more secure without transmitting by any 3rd-party agency. After selecting PayMe on the checkout page, it will generate a PayCode for customers to scan and pay with PayMe. Customers' PayMe accounts and passwords will not be entered or stored on the Shopify server. Integration meets PCI- SAQ A-EP compliance.
