Each time you receive a payout from Shopify Link My Books gets to work.

We fetch, automatically, all the data we need via our direct integration with Shopify, to generate a summary invoice for each payout.

We break down all the sales, refunds and fees checking the tax jurisdiction for each transaction and automatically applying the correct tax rates that you choose during setup.

These summary invoices match EXACTLY the amount that the sales channel deposited into your bank account, meaning reconciling your bank statement now takes seconds rather than hours.

How does Link My Books work for other payment gateways such as PayPal, Klarna etc.?

If you are accepting other payment gateways such as PayPal, Klarna etc. via your Shopify store, Link My Books will generate a settlement summary report once per month for each gateway summarising the sales and refunds.

These monthly summaries will be cleared through a clearing account (one clearing account per payment gateway).

All you need to do is allocate the payments received from these other gateways to their corresponding clearing accounts and that's those reconciled off too.
