How To Get Started

Install this JD Marketplace channel app, then follow the steps to register your account and complete your store application. Once approved, you'll be able to sync and publish products to JD.com.

Documents Needed for Application

To complete your application, prepare the following in advance:

  1. Business license or certificate issued by your home country's government

  2. Legal ID from company’s legal representative (eg, passport or driver’s license)

  3. USD denominated business bank account information to receive funds from JD

  4. Document proving seller authorization for your brands--either a brand trademark (if you own the brand) or proof of purchase (if you resell the brand)

How to Sell Through JD Marketplace

JD Marketplace has built in tools to simplify the process of listing and operating for merchants outside of China:

  1. Sync and List Products

    • Sync products and inventory from Shopify through the channel
    • Use automatic Chinese translation tools and currency converters to manage products

Fees and Getting Paid

It's free to register your store, and JD Marketplace charges no recurring fees.

JD Marketplace collects a fixed percentage commission on sales, in addition to import duties, taxes, and shipping fees, and remits the remaining net sales to your USD bank account on a monthly basis.
