Avoid running out : Manage your product inventory to avoid overselling
Spend less time counting : Automatically keep track of your inventory
Reorder in time : See inventory trends before they become problems
Managing inventory can be a pain, but with Bedrock it doesn’t have to be. Bedrock enables you to create product bundles and track changes when one product includes one or more other products. With Bedrock running in the background, inventory changes happen automatically, without manual adjustments.
Some example use cases:
A Product Bundle connects up to 8 products to one Product Bundle. When the bundle is purchased, the inventory count of all of the connected products go down by the numbers you set.
Conversely, the Product Bundle looks at the inventory count of all of its connected products (the products inside the bundle) and sets the count to the maximum available.
A bundle is any product that you have in your store (Draft or Active), and can consist of up to eight (8) other products (Draft or Active). Adding Draft Products to your bundle lets you manage raw materials or components, while bundles of Active Products keep all of your for-sale products linked so you know how many you have, and won't oversell or run out
Creating a Product Bundle won't change your Storefront, but instead works behind-the-scenes to keep your inventory counts accurate and up-to-date. You can decide through the Product Descriptions whether to showcase more like a traditional bundle, or to silently track inventories shared across multiple products
