Please note: This app is only relevant for use on stores that are owned and operated by the Hachette Publishing Group. The application has no use on 3rd party stores.
The Hachette Control App allows a connection to be made between a Shopify store and Hachette Group Systems. This connection is used to carry out various tasks.
- Import Hachette Group products into a Shopify Store
- Set correct regional prices against Hachette Group products
- Set correct regional stock levels against Hachette Group products
- Create webhooks to allow Hachette Group shipping carrier service calls to return shipping prices and allow Hachette GRoup warehouse services to update Shopify customers of shipping order shipping status.
The app allows an admin user to configure which Hachette Group products should be pulled into the storefront and set various meta data around the region and publishers the store will represent and when the product import should take place.
