About Fame Club App

The Fame Club app is a multi-faced CMS tool used for the creation of:

  • Posts
  • Product Sets
  • Tiers

Posts

The Fame Club app allows the store admin to create various post types. Post types are as follows:

  • Audio - playlist
  • Audio - single
  • News - text post
  • Photo - single
  • Photo - gallery
  • Video - on demand

A post is content, to be published to the Shopify storefront. Each post type has a specific design and look.

Pages

A page houses a post - and is required for a post to be visible in Shopify.

Product Sets

A Product Set is created from a Digital Purchase Product. A Product Set is an internal term used to describe a post, or a number of posts, to be unlocked (gated content) by the purchase of the Digital Purchase Product.

Tiers

A Tier uses a subscription product created in Shopify and ReCharge.

If a post is added to a Tier, any user who purchases the subscription product granting access to that tier will have unlocked access to that post. Upon cancelling the subscription, the user will only have access to that Tier until the next billing cycle, at which point the subscription ends.

Tiers work on a hierarchy - a higher Tier has access to gated content in its own Tier and all Tiers below it. A Tier does not have access to content above it.
