EcoMatcher enables any company using Shopify to integrate tree planting into their cart. Your customers can now add trees to their cart, and upon checkout, will get all details of all trees planted - details like location, date of planting, type of tree, and even the planter. We offer, with our vetted tree-planting partners from around the world, full transparency. The customer can virtually travel to every tree using satellite maps and learn more. And the other good thing? You can even make some money by selling trees.
Upon installing the "Trees by EcoMatcher" app, a 'PLANT A TREE' button will be added to your cart automatically; once your customer selects the button, a tree will be added to their cart, one tree at the time. You can easily uninstall the app if you finally decide not to proceed.
How Does It Work
- First, you need to build some trees' stock through EcoMatcher website or mobile app.
- After installing the "Trees by EcoMatcher" app, you need to enable the 'Create Add to Cart Button' and 'Create an EcoMatcher Shopify product' to automatically generate the 'PLANT A TREE' button and create the tree's product for you.
- Don't forget to set a price on your products admin page, because the default price is free for your customers.
- Once your customer selects the 'PLANT A TREE' button, one tree will be added to their cart.
- Upon checkout, your customer will automatically get the tree link(s) sent by email. Selecting the tree(s) links enables the customer to travel virtually to their tree(s).
- Once your stock is running out, EcoMatcher will remind you to top up your tree stock.
