Shopify default behavior
Shopify loads all the images of all the variants together on the product page. This slows down the site and makes it overcrowded. Imagine you have a product with 15 variants with 6 images per variant. 15x6 = 90 product images will be displayed on the product page all at the same time!
Clever Variant Specific Images
Instead of showing all the product images simultaneously, Clever app displays images of the selected variant only. When shoppers select a different variant, the images of that selected variant are displayed automatically.
This makes the product pages clean and professional. Leading eCommerce sites, including Amazon show images variant-wise.
How it works
- Install the Clever Variant app from the Shopify app store
- Integrate code with a press of a button (no coding required)
- Start arranging images variant wise in the app editor
Your product pages will then display images variant-wise.
