2. Balance in one-click. Your customers now have the option to balance the carbon footprint of their order. Default contributions are a round-up value, with 142 lbs of CO2 emissions offset per $1 contributed. Contributions are added to cart total and automatically collected at checkout. There is no page reload, no added user registration or checkout requirements, just one-click to check the box.

3. Track in one-click. Participating customers receive an automated confirmation e-mail with a unique hyperlinked verification code, where they can access their personal Carbon Portfolio and track their contributions and funded carbon offset projects in real-time.

4. Carbon Checkout pools all contributions into a fund to make significant investments in renewable energy projects that reduce global carbon emissions.
