What is BYOB?
BYOB helps you to create customizable bundles. Let's say, you want to offer:
Customers select any 3 products from collection A or specific products. Pay for a discounted price, say $100.
Customers select any M products in collection A AND Any N products in collection B. Customers will get a 10% discount.
Buy 3 items at 10% off, 5 at 15% off, 8 at 20% off. Display all offers on 1 single page.
The bundle is shown as a STANDALONE product under collection(s).
Who is it for?
If you are offering a wide selection of products and your customers want to mix and match, BYOB is suitable for you.
How it works?
3 steps:
- Create a bundle. This bundle will use our special template to display many products at once
- When a customer adds the selected products to the cart, BYOB will generate a variant and place it into the cart.
- After the order is paid, BYOB will add the individual items (SKU) as free items so your inventory keeps in sync.

Bundle weight is doubled due to order editing

Recently, some users report that the bundle items cause a double-weight issue on the order. It can only happen for the default variant mode. If you're only using discount code mode or subscription bundles, the issue doesn't affect your store.

Beta: Filters under a bundle condition

We've been working for a while on the filter. Finally, the beta version is out. This filter supports filtering by product tags. If you want to support filtering by other criteria, please send an email to support.
BYOB as a Product Widget

Currently, we are trying to collect feedback whether to support BYOB as a product widget. In other words, you can offer custom bundling on existing products instead of standalone product pages. The widget can be added to the standard product template in the theme editor.

Integration with the subscription apps is one of the most popular feature requests since we started. Previously, it's not possible since the subscription apps are storing the subscription data in different ways. With the latest Shopify subscription API, the landscape is changed finally.
Quick view pop-up is now supported!

Quick view pop-up is one of the most common theme features to show more product info without leaving the current page. We are happy to add this feature to the template!When the quick view is activated, customers can add items to bundle without redirecting to other products.
