Start receiving payments through Afterpay and Clearpay
Afterpay (also known as Clearpay in the EU), a payment method for customers to buy now and pay later.
Afterpay gives your customers in Australia, Canada, France, New Zealand, Spain, the United Kingdom, and the United States a way to split purchases over four installments. Your customer only pays the first installment at purchase time. Afterpay immediately pays you in full and collects the remaining installments from your customer over time. Afterpay is particularly popular among businesses selling fashion, beauty, and sports products.
Facts
Domestic transactions only : Merchants can accept payments from customers in the same Merchant country that they registered the Merchant account in. Payments must also match the local currency of the country. Transaction limits are applicable See below list of countries and corresponding currency and transaction limits.
- Australia - accept AUD (Transaction limit from 1 AUD to 2,000 AUD)
- Canada - accept CAD (Transaction limit from 1 CAD to 2,000 CAD)
- New Zealand - accept NZD (Transaction limit from 1 NZD to 2,000 NZD)
- United Kingdom - accept GBP (Transaction limit from 1 GBP to 1,000 GBP)
- United States - accept USD (Transaction limit from 1 USD to ,000 USD)
- France, Spain - accept EUR (Transaction limit from 1 EUR to ,000 EUR)
